Citizens for a Better South Florida, in partnership with Miami Dade College, City of Miami Parks & Recreation, Touch of Love, the Overtown Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NET), Miami-Dade Housing Authority, Mi Familia Vota, and Union Positiva held a community beautification event at Reeves Park in Overtown. Over 40 community volunteers came out for a food and music-filled day of mural painting, park beautification, environmental education, tree plantings, health screenings and voter registration.
