Citizens, in partnership with Miami-Dade Weed and Seed and Audubon of Florida, co-hosted a Water Conservation and Native Planting Workshop for Parents enrolled in the Zone Parents Academy at Morningside Elementary. Citizens, Audubon, and Weed and Seed led the parents in water conservation activities and discussed land use impacts on our water quality. Citizens followed the presentation with a hands-on planting demonstration on the grounds of Morningside, using plants donated from Citizens native plant nursery.
