During Spring Break, the CSW held a week of field trips attended by 20-25 children and one to two parents each day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the week-long excursions to a sampling of south Florida's natural areas, including Shake-a-Leg, Biscayne National Park, Everglades National Park, and the Biscayne Nature Center.
